Mass brawl on Auckland's K' Rd leaves one critical, four arrested
Dozens fought in a mass brawl on Karangahape Rd leading to three serious assaults and four arrests, police said the disorder involved 50 to 300 people on the street.
- On Sunday, Auckland Police reported three people were injured, one initially critical, and four people arrested following a mass disorder on Karangahape Rd.
- Three separate assaults unfolded at about 4.15am, around 4.30am and about 5am across Queen St, Cobden St and the Mobil Service Station, with more than 50 people fighting and some offenders unknown.
- Police logged incident file number 251228/4774, and forensic officers and detectives examined the scene, according to police records.
- A 21-year-old man arrested will appear in Auckland District Court tomorrow charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, police said victims are now stable and will hold offenders accountable.
- Police are calling for witnesses and footage, asking people to contact 105; Hato Hone St John confirmed paramedics responded, and Woodcock described it as `fight after fight after fight`.
