Maryland's new vehicle registration fees will be implemented
Maryland’s new vehicle registration fees will be implemented on Tuesday. State lawmakers passed the higher rates during this year’s General Assembly session, saying the money is needed to help pay for transportation projects. Under the legislation, the one-year registration fee will vary, depending on the class and weight of a vehicle. A full list of the new fees can be found on the MVA website.
