Marsolek & Haugen Named Finalists for Mr. Baseball Award

DULUTH, Minn.- Two local players have found themselves up for the top honor for prep baseball in Minnesota. Duluth Marshall’s Owen Marsolek joins Esko’s Sam Haugen as two of the eight finalists for the award. Once his state tournament run is done, Marsolek is heading to Western Kentucky. MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Lourdes' Nick Bowron and Lyle/Pacelli's Hunter VaDeer were named among the eight finalists for the Minnesota 2025 Mr. Baseball award, the Minnesota Twins Community Fund and the Minnesota All Sports Alliance announced Monday.
