Reconstruction Begins Where Sanctions End

With the lifting of sanctions on Syria decided by Donald Trump, several major issues arise, including the reconstruction of infrastructure, especially for the millions of Syrians living in camps. But this project faces many challenges.

Syrian Foreign Minister Assad Shaybani announced in his historic statement at the Arab League Summit in Baghdad that the country has reached the final stage in the work on a parliament and permanent constitution that includes all segments of society. Shaybani also said that they welcomed the US decision to lift sanctions and that a promising process for regional stability has begun.
