Strange granulated rock found on Mars puzzles NASA scientists
A new rock found by NASA’s rover Perseverance intrigues scientists again. It is a Martian stone made up of hundreds of small spheres, some of them with tiny holes, as a sort of piece of a beaded necklace. Named ‘Bahía de San Pablo’, the rock was discovered on March 11 at one of the edges of the Jezero crater where Perseverance has been exploring since 2021 in search of ancient microbial life.
