Karel Vejmelka made 26 saves and John Marino got a fortunate bounce for the game-winning goal in the Utah Mammoth's 2-1 win over the visiting Dallas Stars on Thursday in Salt Lake City.
Boston - Czech hockey forward Tomáš Hertl scored seven seconds before the third whistle to help Vegas beat Toronto 6-5 in overtime in the NHL. David Pastrňák also scored as Boston beat Seattle 4-2. Pavel Zacha also had an assist in the Bruins' win. Goalie Karel Vejmelka also had a successful game, making 26 saves to lead Utah to a 2-1 win over Dallas.
