The President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, defended today that there is the need to re-establish Portugal, which is in a new cycle of its history, and to better care for the poorest. "This re-entry Portugal is our first obligation in this new cycle of our history, 50 years after we arrive at democracy and freedom," said the Head of State, at the memorial military ceremony on 10 June in Lakes, in the district of Faro.
The President of the Republic points out that reform of the State is "work for at least four years" and speaks in revision of the law to end "with details" which work on the functioning of public administration.
