The bylaw sets the residential and multi-family residential tax rate at 8.5295, and the non-residential rate at 13.5791, both reflecting an increase over last year.
Ludwigsburg wants to increase the property tax. However, the city councillors do not make it that simple. In the case of a new tax, they are on the same footing.
This year, most city halls are maintaining the same local coefficients that they charged property owners last year at the state-set rate and basic coefficient.
