- On October 24, Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, is due to be sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court for murdering two men and dumping their remains in suitcases by the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol.
- In their flat on Scotts Road in Shepherd's Bush, civil partners Albert Alfonso, 62, and Paul Longworth, 71, were killed on July 8 last year while Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, was staying with them.
- After delivering a freezer, Mosquera put heads in it and loaded other remains into a large red suitcase and a silver trunk, then took them to Clifton Suspension Bridge on July 10, telling a cyclist they were car parts before fleeing when staff shone torches on the suitcases.
- A court sentenced Mosquera to life with a minimum term of 42 years following the guilty verdict, and he was jailed for 16 months for possessing indecent images with at least 1,500 category A items found on seized devices.
- Amid the trial, Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC described the killings as `calculated` and `premeditated`, Mosquera claimed he feared for his life and blamed Mr Alfonso, but the jury rejected his defences while hearing evidence of selling sexual images online and financial motive.
