Man convicted of sexually assaulting 2 young girls in N.J. city, authorities say

A former Millville man was convicted Thursday of sexually assaulting two young girls over the course of six years in the city, officials said.Brian Scherfel, 43, was found guilty of 13 crimes, including multiple counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, according to a statement released Friday from the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
