A 44-year-old man from Quincy was convicted on Thursday for aggravated rape of a child, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III’s office. A jury in the Fall River Superior Court convicted Andrew Amado of aggravated rape of child with a 5-year age difference, indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and posing/exhibiting a child in a sexual act, the attorney’s office wrote.
