The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office and Dalton Police Department has conducted an investigation resulting in the arrest of Nickalous Payton of Dalton. A post on the “What’s Going on Dalton” Facebook page was shared and commented on hundreds of times, alerting law enforcement to multiple dogs in small cages outside of the Walmart on Shugart Road.
