Mark Vallejos caused thousands of dollars in damage at Burnt Cove Market and faces felony charges after brandishing a firearm and fleeing, authorities said.

A Deer Isle man allegedly vandalized a Stonington market Sunday morning. Mark Vallejos, 41, has been charged with aggravated criminal mischief and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, according to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
