The pedestrian, who hasn’t been identified, was walking in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr Drive when they were struck by a vehicle in the around 1:15 a.m. They were transported to UAB Hospital where they were pronounced dead around 1:41 a.m. BPD will continue to investigate.
