Man, 21 , Dies Following Dublin City Centre Assault - LIVE Updates
A 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at a Hospital following an assault in Dublin city centre early Monday, after Garda found him in serious condition on Clarendon Street at 3 a.m.
Parallel to Grafton Street, the fatal assault occurred on Clarendon Street, where Pearse Street Garda preserved the scene for technical examination following the incident in the early hours.
Pearse Street Garda are conducting an investigation into the death, while The State Pathologist has been informed to arrange a postmortem examination in due course.
Witnesses in the Grafton Street or Clarendon Street area between 2 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. are urged by Pearse Street Garda to provide any CCTV footage of the incident.
