While Wagner announced his departure from Mali on Friday 6 June, Russia continues to strengthen its military presence in the country. To discreetly transport military equipment to its "African Corps", the Kremlin uses the port of Conakry, in neighbouring Guinea. In 2025, the RFI Info Verif cell documented the arrival of at least three military convoys in Bamako, coming from this new logistics hub. An investigation to be found in two episodes.
