Majority of voters believe Trump was aware of Epstein’s abuse: Poll
A Morning Consult poll shows 60% of Americans believe Trump knew about Epstein's abuse, with 38% saying he participated, amid a House vote on Epstein Files transparency.
Released Tuesday, the Morning Consult poll found 60% of Americans believe President Donald Trump knew of Jeffrey Epstein's actions in a survey of 2,201 registered voters from Nov. 14-16.
Pressure built after newly released Epstein emails showed Trump 'spent hours at my house' and 'knew about the girls' as the U.S. House of Representatives prepares to vote Tuesday on the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
The poll's internal breakdown shows 38% of voters believe Trump not only knew about Epstein's abuse but participated, with 22% thinking he was aware but not involved.
Despite opposition, President Donald Trump reversed course on Sunday and said he could order the release of Epstein files himself, citing 'we have nothing to hide' on Truth Social.
The broader picture shows voter awareness is relatively high, with roughly three in five voters informed, but the data underline a persistent credibility gap for Trump's political standing as the U.S. Senate outcome remains unclear.
