Main Street in Philippi closed for ‘sinkhole’

PHILIPPI, W.Va. (WBOY) — Traffic is being detoured off Main Street in downtown Philippi after the city says a sinkhole formed in front of city hall. The City of Philippi said in a Facebook post Wednesday that the West Virginia Division of Highways made the decision to close the road.
