Researchers from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, et al. recruited two HCM cohorts, followed the first for ~32.8 months, identified two HCM subtypes via echocardiography clustering, proposed a phenotype-genotype analysis method, found 46 subtype-predicting genes, verified results in the second cohort, and concluded HCM classification via echocardiography and the 46-gene screening.
