My previous dog Maggie was able to do mountains like Gothic, Saddleback, Basin, etc. with ease. Now that she is gone, my present dog Dack, an 80lb lab, is my new buddy on the trail. While I know Mag's would have done LWJ with ease, I'm not so sure about Dack. We're packing into Wolfjaw lean-to, then the next day climbing LWJ, then hiking out the following day.
