Real estate market sees strong recovery in first quarter, but prices remain stable

The real estate market in our country experienced a strong recovery at the beginning of this year. In Flanders, no less than 19 percent more real estate transactions were registered. However, the recovery seems to be short-lived.

Wallonia and Flanders saw a strong – but one-off – increase in transactions during the last quarter due to the drop in their registration fees. Everywhere, even in Brussels, the prices of goods are on the rise.
