The municipality of Utrecht is asking its residents to leave the seal spotted in the Merwede Canal alone on Monday afternoon. The animal is swimming near the Munt canal, an ANP reporter saw. Several dozen people are standing along the banks hoping to catch a glimpse of the seal.
