Longtime educator Eustace Thompson dies at 81

Longtime educator and mentor Eustace Thompson died Friday, Aug. 8, after a battle with leukemia. He was 81. Born on July 5, 1944, Thompson graduated from Newton High School in Elmhurst, Queens, before earning a bachelor's degree from the City College of New York.
