Long-distance railway tunnel: five variants for underground railway station in Frankfurt

Deutsche Bahn is planning a long-distance railway tunnel and an underground station under Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. It is intended to complement the existing station and optimise long-distance traffic.

Deutsche Bahn is advancing its plans for the construction of the Frankfurt long-distance railway tunnel. In the future, ICE trains will pass through the city at a station under the main station. Five models are eligible.
