Seven European countries and Canada have already joined the initiative to purchase American weapons for Ukraine under an agreement signed by US President Donald Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the Ukrainian portal liga.net reported, citing the NATO press office. The publication noted that the list is not closed and that talks with other partners are ongoing.
An Alliance official told Liga.net. According to him, commitments in the purchase of weapons were taken by Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Finland and Canada.
