What promises to be a veritable budget marathon began this morning in the Lombardy Regional Council. From today until Thursday, July 24, the chamber will be busy examining the 2024 General Budget and the draft budget adjustment bill for 2025-2027. It will be a busy and demanding three-day meeting, with over 8,000 amendments (nearly 7,500 from the opposition) and more than 230 motions already filed.
