A few days ago, a new anniversary of the foundation of Santiago was commemorated. Without entering into urban centralisms, I thought if that February 12, 1541 would have been possible and viable without a logistical thought behind factors that would have ensured the ability to sustain a growing population. Probably without all that, the project would not have been viable.
