Local law enforcement receives funds from Broome County D.A.'s Office

BINGHAMTON, NY (WIVT/WBGH) - Local law enforcement is receiving additional funding this summer to help it foster better relations with residents. The Broome County District Attorney's Office is giving 52 thousand dollars to local police agencies. The money comes from the D-A's Traffic Diversion Fund and will be split among the Binghamton, Johnson City, Endicott and Vestal Police Departments as well as the Broome County Sheriff's Office.
