Local Division I baseball player turns to Texas country music

MONAHANS, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - Lawson Knight was once on the field as a Division I baseball player at Gardner-Webb University, and has now turned to being a Texas country singer and songwriter. Knight played nearly 100 games for the Bulldogs with a batting average of .222 and 33 stolen bases.
