The Chinese Academy of Sciences withdrew from its portal the profile of Liu Guozhi, an ancient high-level scientist of the Chinese Army and former commander of a nuclear testing centre, in a new case in the defence sector.
On March 18, when searching the official website of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, it was discovered that the personal information of Liu Guozhi, former director of the Science and Technology Commission of the Central Military Commission and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, had been removed, and the relevant profile page was inaccessible. Currently, no official announcement or explanation has been released regarding this matter.
