BRISTOL, ENGLAND, JUL 30 – IDLES recorded four new tracks to reflect the 1990s New York punk scene energy in Darren Aronofsky’s crime film Caught Stealing, releasing the soundtrack on August 29.
- Releasing their latest track, the band IDLES shared `Rabbit Run`, one of four new songs for Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming crime caper Caught Stealing.
- In a press statement, Darren Aronofsky said, `I built Caught Stealing to be a roller coaster of fun`, enlisting IDLES to capture the 1990s New York punk scene.
- The score’s composer, Rob Simonsen, noted IDLES recorded the full score for Caught Stealing in the studio.
- Marking its launch on August 29, both the film and the Caught Stealing soundtrack will be available; the soundtrack drops digitally via Protozoa with a vinyl pre-order same day.
- Ahead of those dates, the band will open for Deftones and My Chemical Romance at Queen Square, Bristol, UK on August 1 and August 2.
