At the end of last year, the Lithuanian Government presented a strategic plan for a balanced economy "3i", the goals of which are higher labor productivity, reduced regional segregation, growing investments in scientific research and experimental development. According to the plan, regions must account for at least 30 percent of new investments in high-value-added sectors.
