The administrator of the American Cemetery in Margraten must give the stories of Black American soldiers a permanent place in the cemetery's visitors center. Mayor Alain Krijnen of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten made this appeal Monday afternoon, a few days after NRC reported that two information panels about African-American soldiers had been removed without explanation.
