Lightning strikes near Russellville Piggly Wiggly - WNKY News 40 Television

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Storms hit a little close to home on Tuesday near a Russellville, Kentucky Piggly Wiggly. In surveillance footage provided to News 40, lightning hit the parking lot outside of the store near several vehicles. News 40 was told by staff that no one was injured, but two of the employees’ cars were fried due to the strike. Surveillance inside of the store also showed customers reacting to the weather event.
