Life conquering death, engraved in the colors of Ukrainian pysanky

Ukrainian pysanky, or decorative Easter eggs, have a "special meaning" amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine, reflects Sister Teodozija Mostepaniuk. "Ukrainians made pysanky for the defenders on the front lines, as a way of giving them hope," says the nun, who hopes that this Easter the pysanky's endless decorative lines will illuminate "the Paschal mystery of new life conquering death."
