Due to the unsatisfactory taste and smell, the chocolate advent calendars produced by the Polish company Millano are being withdrawn from the market. After the Penny chain announced their withdrawal at the end of November, Lidl has now taken a similar step.
Due to the abnormal taste and smell of the chocolates, Millano Sp. z o.o. S.K.A. and the Lidl chain of stores decided to voluntarily withdraw certain batches of Advent calendars from the market. This action was taken in response to information provided by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate.
Advent calendars sold in Lidl chains have come under scrutiny by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. The body has announced the withdrawal of several dozen batches of popular delicacies from the company indicated in the announcement. The reason for the decision is the improper taste and smell of the chocolates placed in the calendars.
