DETROIT LAKES — Thanks to everyone in the Detroit Lakes community who helped make the 2025 annual Winter Gear Give-a-Way for Children at Trinity Lutheran Church a big success on Oct. 4. Even though the numbers were down this year, 148 children from 43 different families received coats, boots, snowpants, sweatshirts, mittens, scarves and caps to keep them warm during this upcoming winter.
