Letter to the editor: Plowing parking lots on Rabbit Ears Pass

The snowplow drivers who keep Rabbit Ears Pass open in the middle of winter storms under difficult conditions should be thanked many times over for their services. The USFS marks the trails, provides maps to winter users to follow and patrols the pass to keep the non-motorized area quiet and peaceful.
