To the editor: The tired lie that “Democrats are Socialists” is predicated on the ludicrous idea that free market capitalism means whatever Ayn Rand said it was in one of her novels. Ayn Rand argued that man's body, property, including commercial property, was a sovereign nation that the government could not touch in any way.
