Letter to the Editor: How do I raise awareness about school shootings?

As a Political Science major, I spend a lot of my time trying to figure out what to focus on. What agenda I want to push in the political atmosphere. Often, I find myself wondering what would catch people’s attention the most. What would pull at peoples’ heartstrings and get them to focus on politics, no matter how reluctant they are to get involved?
