B.C. spends approximately $4.4 billion annually in provincial debt interest. Expected to hit $7.6 billion by 2027/28 and $8.7 billion by 2028/29 [according to the Fraser Institute]. Current interest payments cost roughly $745 to $800 per B.C. resident which is projected to double to $1,520 per B.C. resident by 2028/29. A total waste of taxpayers dollars.
