LETTER: Now is not the time to add more debt for new rec centre

With regard to Sidney Council voting against borrowing money to fund a new recreational facility in Central Saanich, a couple of points come to my mind. In 1976, when the Peninsula Recreation Commission was established, Central Saanich declined to participate.
