The Leipzig Book Fair has come to an end.

It was a mass rush. 296,000 visitors came to the book fair, "Leipzig reads" and Manga-Comic-Con - 13,000 more than 2024. But the book market is also under pressure.

This year's Leipzig Book Fair in Germany attracted a record 296,000 visitors, 13,000 more than last year. One of the largest book fairs in Europe, more than 2,800 events took place at 330 venues. 2,040 exhibitors from 45 countries, including Slovenia, participated in the fair.

The organisers took stock: The Leipzig Book Fair 2025 (27–30 March) counted a total of 296,000 visitors on the four days of the fair – and thus 13,000 more than last year. The number of exhibitors:inside fell minimally.
