SURF CITY, NC (WWAY)–A large structure fire prompted a major emergency response late Saturday night in Surf City. Fire crews were dispatched around 11 p.m. on July 4 to the 2200 block of South Shore Drive, where firefighters quickly worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes.
