In the investigation into a large synthetic drug lab in Bree, a fifth suspect has been arrested and detained. According to the Limburg Public Prosecutor's Office, the lab is one of the largest active labs the police have been able to dismantle in recent years. Large quantities of MDMA and crystal meth were being produced there.
In Bree, investigators have discovered one of the largest active drug labs of recent years. In a warehouse on Opitterkiezel, they found approximately 180 kilograms of finished MDMA crystals and more than 700 kilograms of raw materials for the production of synthetic drugs.
