Lanett to replace cast iron gas lines

LANETT — In its Tuesday meeting, the Lanett City Council awarded a base bid for a major project to replace its aging cast iron natural gas lines. Southeast Connections, LLC, of Conyers, Georgia, received the bid for its offer of a little more than $2.4 million to do the needed work.
