Fraport receives 213,000 euros from the State of Hesse for the purchase of two fully electric aircraft tugs. The money comes from the state programme "Promotion of Electromobility" of the Hessian Ministry of Transport and Economics, as the airport operator announced. The E-Schlepper is scheduled to go into operation in the fourth quarter of 2026.
