Research: Lake Tahoe air warmer today than 1910

Lake Tahoe generally experiences warmer air temperatures, more rain, less snow and earlier snowmelt than it did 113 years ago, according to the annual “Tahoe: State of the Lake Report,” conducted by the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center.

Lake Tahoe clarity dips in 2024 but isn’t ‘statistically worse’

The Sacramento Bee  reported Lake Tahoe’s water clarity is neither improving nor worsening, according to the 2024 Lake Tahoe Clarity Report released by UC Davis’ Tahoe Environmental Research Center on Monday.
