DULUTH — Just as the city's peak summer tourist season begins, the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center will reduce its hours of operation. The Detroit District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which operates the facility, announced Friday that as of Memorial Day week, the center will be open 30 hours per week.
