LABETTE COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) - The Labette County Sheriff's Office released the results of it's most recent "Click It or Ticket" enforcement campaign.

During the Click It or Ticket campaign, the Labette County Sheriff’s Office focused primarily on unrestrained drivers, while also enforcing all Kansas traffic laws. During the campaign, deputies conducted 131 vehicle stops, resulting in 34 seat belt citations, 2 child restraint citations, 14 speeding citations, and 20 other citations including 3 DUI arrests. The Wisconsin State Patrol recently wrapped up their national Click It or Ticket special enforcement campaign, reinforcing the importance of seat belt safety. The campaign coincided with the Memorial Day weekend, which is the first long holiday weekend of summer when roads are especially busy.
